PRACTICING MINDFULNESS IN YOUR EVERYDAY LIFE

Mindfulness is the mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations.

Life is about constantly stepping out of those comfort zones to allow one to be in constant expansion with oneself. Finding out your own personal method of Mindfulness will help you when dealing with the unexpected and in manifesting the life you want.
We may find ourself facing numerous thought processes more negative in nature, such as: ” I am a failure”, “What will I become”, “My life is in ruins”, “I don’t think I can do this anymore”.
This is okay and you are not alone.
You can practice mindfulness just about anywhere, and everywhere you may find yourself in your day to day life.   There is no such thing as a “Bad time” to check in with your self, In fact nothing is more important for you to remain balanced and centered in the uniqueness that is you.  You can do this on the way to work, while in your vehicle and at every red light, when waiting in line, and whenever you get a moment free from the creation of your day.
How might one practice mindfulness?
You can begin to observe your body by being aware of what it may feel like for you to be exactly where you are at in the present moment: to stand, or sit, or lay.
elements
How does the weight against the soles of your feet feel in side of your shoe? How does your foot feel inside the particular fabric the sock is made from? What does your body feel like laying down, describe the weight against the side of your body that is laying down. What does it feel to stand erect verses slouched? And so on..
Be in body and not in your thoughts will allow your self to observe your thoughts as they come and go. Notice you do not have to put in a ounce of input, you can simply watch and feel these thoughts subjectively.
You can redirect attention away from “negative” thought processes by starving them of the attention it takes for them to exist. Becoming aware of what may trigger such thoughts or being aware of what you are doing when these thoughts occur is called being Mindful of the present moment.
When one is Mindful of the Present moment with focus in body, the connection between our thoughts and the moment they form is apparent.
Your body is a genius and knows when and why distress has occurred for you.  Simply being present with yourself and making it a habit to check in with your self on a regular basis could immediately bring forth positive improvement on how much you value your presence and life.
You are not your thoughts.  Understanding that a thought is nothing until you focus on it, and believe it is true, can be very beneficial to you.
Manifesting, synchronicity, and peace of mind can come very easily when one is fully present.
No matter where you find yourself, you are exactly where you need to be for your personal evolution and ascension. Its easy to get caught in thoughts about the self that live to separate you from the moment, practicing mindfulness helps you see those thoughts for exactly what they are.
